Our client is New Zealand's largest construction company, is at the forefront of concrete production with their well-known Certified brand. They produce ready mix concrete, masonry, paving, retaining walls, and veneers.
Role: Lab Technician from a construction background.

Potential Monday - Friday work: 6am- 1:30pm - great hours to work around your family and commitments!
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Experience (Highly Beneficial): If you have experience in quality control or concrete/precast, this will be a great advantage. However, if you're willing to learn and keen to grow, we still want to hear from you!
Attention to Detail: Your ability to focus on detail will be essential in completing worksheets, handling machinery, and extracting data.
Concrete Batch Testing: You'll be responsible for testing batches before they leave the yard, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Physically Fit: This role requires someone physically capable of manual tasks and moving around the site.
Basic Computer Skills: You'll need to input and extract data for tests across 9 sites, so a comfort level with computers is essential.
What We're Looking For:
Trade and/or construction background desired.
Must be able to pass a Criminal Conviction Screening (MOJ) and Drug screening.
Physical Capability: Must be able to handle manual tasks and be able to lift up to 25kg
Health and Safety Focus: A strong understanding and adherence to health and safety protocols.
Computer skills - ideally data type skill or spreadsheets
Basic tools and machinery experience - hands on history of this type of work
2 x valid refences to provide good work history understanding
