Ross Reid Contractors have been in the construction industry since 1954 and have one of the largest fleets of earthmoving and construction equipment. We currently own and operate over 400 items of plant equipment.

We are currently seeking experienced Class 2 to Class 5 Drivers to join our team based in South Auckland.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and operating our fleet in and around the Auckland & Waikato areas.

Experience and Skills:

  • Be able to work in any weather condition and exposed to the elements
  • Must be willing to work Saturdays
  • Need to have a Class 2 to 5 licence and 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work unsupervised with a positive work attitude
  • Understand safe work practices pertaining to an earthworks/civils environment
  • Make difficult decisions efficiently and is keen to help other and or learn
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, operations outside of general duties
  • Can identify potential hazards in and around the work area


Experience in spreading an advantage.

This is a full time role working a minimum 40 hours per week.

Successful applicants will undergo drug and alcohol tests before commencement.
