About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Laundry Assistant to join a team to work in our commercial laundry business based in Ellerslie. This is a permanent, full time position doing laundry for multiple Care Homes within Retirement Villages around Auckland.

This is a full time, permanent position working a roster 40-hour week (Monday to Sunday), so flexibility around shifts / days is required.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Working in the laundry with sorting incoming laundry, loading machines, pressing garments to folding of clean linen.
  • Packing of clean linen for delivery.
  • Cleaning and tidying of laundry
  • Working within a team


About you
Ideally you will have some experience working in a commercial laundry environment or similar. You must be physically fit as heavy lift is required and enjoy interacting with a variety of different people. You must also be flexible with your availability and enjoy interacting with a variety of different people.
