Job Description

The Role:
You’ll be working in our Yard and Drive Thru area as part of the team of Gore, serving customer, loading, and unloading products onto vehicles/trucks.

Daily you will be responsible for –

  • Assisting our customers within our timber yard & Drive Thru department
  • Loading of goods on to customer vehicles
  • Processing customer orders and transactions
  • Picking orders for delivery when needed
  • Monitoring inventory, cycle counts
  • Assisting as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained
  • Operating a Forklift


This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working from Monday to Friday with a rostered Saturday (9-1pm).

About you:
You will play a lead role in ensuring our loyal customers are giving the upmost care and service. You will need to be a people person and someone who thrives in building rapport customers.

  • Full clean class 1 driver licence and Forklift licence/Experience is preferred
  • Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience
  • Physically fit and a solid health and safety values
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Great attention to detail and be organised
  • Computer and numeracy knowledge
