As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with unique needs contributing to their overall wellbeing to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Requirements:
- Qualification in level 2 Healthcare, disability support or related field will be preferred
- Preferred but not required competencies in Hoist, Tracheostomy, Ventilator, and PEG Feed
- Own transport with a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver’s license
- Legitimate NZ work rights
- A clean Police check
- Well-prepared and organizedTraining will be provided
Available Shifts:
- Monday to Sunday 8am- 9pm
*(with the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks such as low-level personal care
- Usage of hoist equipment correctly and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care, developmental therapies and medication
- Mobility, positioning, grooming, and general home help
