Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their Civil Southern team based in Hornby, Christchurch, working on a variety of projects across Canterbury.
As an experienced and driven Project Manager, you will provide senior leadership across a number of exciting and diverse civil construction projects. You will take full ownership of project outcomes, ensuring successful and safe delivery with a strong focus on service quality. Our client needs someone who can hit the ground running! You will be responsible for:
Delivering high-quality civil projects within budget and time constraints, ensuring client satisfaction.
Providing specialized technical advice when needed.
Managing and motivating effective project teams and subcontractors.
Championing health and safety standards.
Collaborating with managers and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Skills and experience that will ensure your success:
A Civil Engineering degree, equivalent qualification, or significant relevant experience.
Experience working on NZTA projects will be an advantage.
Proven experience in managing projects such as water, pump stations, treatment plants, utilities, roading, deep trenching, and other civil construction projects.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
Financial acumen to manage and deliver projects within budget.
Experience leading a diverse team and handling a range of projects.
