Sage Doors is Kiwi family-owned business; we manufacture doors and cabinetry components for cabinetmakers all over NZ.

We are currently looking for a Quality Checker to join our team on the North Shore.

You will be working within a team, quality checking the finished products before they are packed. This fast-paced role requires a love for quality and attention to detail. As it involves a lot of lifting, you will also be physically fit and able to lift at least 25kg.

You will be working as part of a wider team, manufacturing high quality doors for companies all over NZ. Once the doors are cut, they are then edged in our fully automated edgebander; this quality assurance role involves checking the finished parts as they come out of the machine, and placing them in the trolleys, ready for our packing team. We operate with a short lead time, and most orders are manufactured and shipped within 2-4 days from the time that the order is placed!

This is a fast-paced role where you will always have something to do!

No experience required, however ideally you will have/be:

  • Attention to detail as quality control is critical
  • Initiative and love to learn
  • Genuinely keen to work, reliable, and punctual
  • Physically fit as this role involves a lot of lifting
  • A team player
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
