Job Description

The Company

The Role

  • As a principal engineer, you will undertake analysis and design for key projects, including those of a specialist nature and those requiring strong technical input.
  • Senior reviews will make up a part of your week and as required, proactive guidance being given to less experienced members of the team on improvements they could make. From time to time, construction monitoring and site observations will be needed.
  • The Tauranga team are hard-working, supportive, and fun in equal measures. You’ll also be part of a national team with a varied workload – big, small, simple, complex, and challenging.
  • There is also the option available of taking the lead role in the technical management of the geotechnical team in Tauranga. If this is something you would like to explore, please indicate this in your application to be incorporated into our assessment process.


About You
You’ll have demonstrated initiative and confidence in your work, and be a chartered engineer who is CAT1, and live in the Bay of Plenty.
