Position: Inventory Controller
Location: Kaingaroa
Status: This is a full time waged position working on a four on, four off roster.
About the role:
Are you highly organized, detail-focused, and ready to contribute to the forestry industry? We are looking for a Inventory Controller to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate log inventory management and efficient weighbridge operations at our Kaingaroa site.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate log inventory records and stock levels.
- Operate and manage weighbridge systems, including docket entry and reporting.
- Perform quality control checks on logs and truckloads.
- Coordinate loadout activities and communicate with drivers.
- Ensure a safe and compliant workplace by identifying and addressing hazards.
- Support administrative tasks, including documentation and reporting.
Key Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Computer literacy and numeracy skills.
- Full Class 1 Driver’s License.
- Log Scaling Unit Standards are a bonus.
