As such, we have an exciting opportunity for an amazing Part-Time Lounge Supervisor within our Air New Zealand Wellington Lounge. This role involves supervising daily operations and the performance of catering team members. This role ensures that all tasks associated with food production, front and back of house services, and general support are performed with due regard for Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Deliver professional customer service with a warm, friendly, and welcoming style.
• Maintain clean and tidy dining/kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping floors, and handling waste.
• Supervise, train, and coordinate staff, modeling high standards of performance and behavior.
• Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service responsibilities, assisting customers to drink within appropriate limits and managing alcohol-affected customers.

• Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Flexible approach and attitude, with good communication skills.
• Hard-working, physically fit, and reliable.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and police clearance are required.
