We are currently recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator to join a reputable engineering firm in Christchurch. This role is mostly workshop based however there will be some steel installation required on residential sites from time to time.
Key tasks:
Read and understand all drawings
Metalwork fabrication
MIG Flux Core and MIG Solid Wire welding
Some site welding/installing may be required
Working to tight deadlines
Skills & attributes required:
Ideally hold a trade qualification
Ability to work unsupervised and complete jobs from start to finish alone
Ability to fabricate accurately from drawings
Class 2 Drivers License is advantageous (This can be helped to be obtained for the right candidate)
