We're BusyLizzyGardens - a well established, locally owned landscape gardening company with a passion for quality workmanship and beautiful outdoor spaces. We're seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team and drive high quality outcomes across both our landscaping projects and maintenance services.

About the role:
You'll be responsible for quoting, planning, executing and overseeing multiple landscape and construction projects from start to finish. You'll liaise with clients, manage teams and ensure everything runs smoothly, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities:
Visit clients and prepare accurate, competitive quotes
Lead and manage multiple maintenance and construction projects
Collaborate with clients to understand expectations and budget constraints
Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines and budgets
Procure materials and coordinate subcontractors and teams
Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise
Ensure all work meets regulatory, safety and quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation and report on project status
Provide leadership to team members and promote a positive work culture
Look for ways to improve processes and optimise costs
Skills & experience you'll bring:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in landscaping or construction
Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials and maintenance practices
Excellent organisational, budgeting and scheduling skills
Confident communicator and relationship builder
Proactive problem solver with a strong attention to detail
Proficient in project management software (experience with Simpro a bonus)
Familiarity with NZ building codes and regulations
Full clean driver's licence
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Desirable (but not essential):
A qualification in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or similar
Project Management certification
Quantity surveying or estimating experience
Proficiency in Google Workspace Suite & Simpro
