Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team in Auckland. This role is integral to the company's success, assisting the Senior Business Partner and Commercial Leads to drive short and long-term strategic goals and financial outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to key outputs for Month End Close & Reporting, Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong commercial acumen.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's short and long-term strategic goals. You will partner closely with the Senior Business Partner, ensuring ownership of the P&L down to EBIT level. Your ability to deliver insightful profitability analyses will be crucial in executing business strategies. You will also contribute significantly to various financial outputs including Month End Close & Reporting, Latest Estimates, Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan. Working within an agile team structure, you will support shared Commercial Finance Outcomes while contributing to departmental and business strategic objectives.

• Partner with Senior Business Partner to ensure ownership of the P&L down to EBIT level
• Deliver Brand/SKU/Regional/Customer Profitability insights that enable execution of business strategy
• Contribute to the delivery of key outputs for Month End Close & Reporting, Latest Estimates, Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan
• Support the delivery of shared Commercial Finance Outcomes
• Contribute to Departmental and Business Strategic Objectives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role brings a wealth of skills and experience. You hold a Bachelor’s degree majoring in accounting or similar field. You have demonstrated your ability to partner with Commercial Leads in supporting the delivery of business strategy within a complex commercial organization. Your sound commercial acumen has been proven through your solid approach to Business Partnering and influencing business outcomes. You are able to effectively communicate with non-finance business partners, growing their financial acumen while functioning effectively within an Agile Team Environment.

• Bachelor’s degree majoring in accounting or similar field
• Demonstrated ability to partner with Commercial Leads to support delivery of business strategy
• 2 years experience operating within a complex commercial organization of medium to large scale (FMCG desired)
• Sound commercial acumen and a solid approach to Business Partnering and influencing business outcomes
• Ability to effectively communicate with non-finance business partners and grow financial acumen
• Ability to function effectively within an Agile Team Environment
