Tribe Tech Lead

The role will be reporting to our GM Engineering and Core Transformation and will see you working closely with the Tribe Lead to ensure delivery and evolution of our Core Tribe technology roadmap. This will involve collaboration with bank wide teams and leaders to sequence key deliverables and smooth and timely execution. Ensure the health and stability of Tribe technology by proactively monitoring systems, addressing potential issues, managing technical risk, and escalating as required.

What you will be responsible for

Establishing the technology and transformation vision and roadmap for the Core tribe, in alignment with the overarching ASB and divisional strategy.
Working collaboratively with the Tribes, Platforms and Technology leadership teams across the organisation to manage risks and dependencies
Act as a strategic collaborator to the Tribe Lead and CXOs/CXLs, co-defining key technology investments for the Tribe
Reducing technical debt and creating a future ready technology environment.
Managing delivery dependencies and enabling efficient interactions for the teams consuming technology capabilities.
Effectively managing risks utilising ASB frameworks, policies and procedures.
Manage the technology costs and collaborate with Practices and vendors for technology needs.

We are looking for an experience Engineer or Architect with a deep expertise in software development, systems architecture, infrastructure, and engineering practices
A strong software engineering background is paramount and ideally you will have experience of development in public cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Salesforce.
Able to create a strategic vision and generate a programme of work to deliver an evolution of technology capabilities through the use of roadmaps and effective planning.
Delivery through collaboration and influence, empowers teams to work together to achieve aligned outcomes.
Broad technical capability ability to harness knowledge of data, digital and technology.
Able to connect teams to deliver business benefit and improve decision making.
Leadership through transformation change and adoption of agile delivery methodologies and DevOps.
