Our client is seeking a senior solicitor to join their Resource Management team in Wellington. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment where you will have good work-life balance, and work on high-profile complex projects.

Mō tēnei Taranga mahi | About this role

You will provide advice and work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions on the full spectrum of matters in relation to the Resource Management Act. Work will include but not be limited to large projects and policy development work as well as advising on relationships between government and iwi.

You will be amongst partners that work collaboratively and are motivated to develop and support their team. They are also well connected across the public sector so you will have an excellent diet of work.

Mōhou ake | About you

  • 4+ years' post admission experience acquired in resource management
  • Private practice experience is important but you may currently be in the public sector and considering a return
  • Ability to work through complex issues
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
  • A current practicing certificate or eligibility to obtain one
