Adecco Recruitment, in partnership with our Avondale client, a leading global company, is seeking a talented Commercial Painter for a one-week assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional interior and/or exterior painting services at the client's site. This short-term opportunity is perfect for a skilled painter looking to showcase their expertise while working with a dedicated team to ensure the project is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning to create an optimal foundation for painting.
• Apply a variety of paints, stains, varnishes, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Follow work orders or blueprints closely to ensure project specifications are met.
• Mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired results.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Perform touch-ups and refinishing tasks as needed during the assignment.
• Communicate effectively with the supervisor and team, providing regular updates and resolving any issues that arise.
• Complete all tasks and deliver the project within the designated one-week timeframe.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a commercial painter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with various painting tools, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Comfortable working at heights, including using ladders or scaffolding.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Previous commercial painting experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and client-specific requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry painting materials and equipment.
• Comfortable standing, kneeling, and working at heights for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in outdoor conditions or confined spaces, as required by the project.
