We are currently looking for an experienced Tyre Technician to join our team, based in New Lynn.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Fitting and balancing tyres and /or repair tyre punctures.
- Completing wheel alignments on vehicles.
- Assisting with tyre stock taking and stock management
- Dismantling and preparing vehicles for underbody Compliance Inspections
- Completing minor vehicle repairs and servicing.
- Preparing and completing relevant documents for vehicles as required
- Other duties as and when required by management
Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- A minimum of 2 years experience fitting and balancing tyres
- A Full NZ Drivers Licence
- High levels of physical fitness (this can be a physically demanding role)
- Capable of working in a fast paced, high volume workshop
- Good communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Great time management and organisational skills
- Able to work well in a team environment and independently
