About the Role:

We are looking for a caring and proactive person, with the initiative to take charge when needed. You should be firm yet approachable and demonstrate confidence in your interactions with both children and staff. Prior experience in ECE is essential, along with strong skills in writing learning stories and completing documentation.
Reporting to our Centre Manager and working within a close-knit team you will be joining a dedicated team of Teachers who provide quality care and education to our tamariki.
Here’s what you’ll do on a day-to day basis:
- Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki
- Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki’s learning
- Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary
- Support centre operations at all levels
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You’ll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
