About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Head Teacher to lead our toddler room, catering to 30 toddlers and supported by a dedicated team of four teachers. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is either an experienced leader or someone looking to step up into a leadership position, with strong support provided to ensure success.

We welcome provisionally registered teachers if they have prior ECE Head Teacher experience. The ideal candidate will bring resilience and adaptability, with strong communication skills and experience working with diverse learners. A solid knowledge base in supporting diverse learners, combined with the ability to build meaningful relationships, is essential.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours Monday-Friday

Role requirements:

We're looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision who has a good understanding of programme planning and assessment as well as a drive and passion for growth.

As well as

B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
