Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As a Risk Engineer, your mission is to enhance the safety and resilience of our customers. You’ll partner with clients to develop and implement risk improvement strategies, providing crucial insights into potential exposures and offering ongoing business continuity advice. Your role is pivotal in creating a positive customer experience, as you share observations and innovative solutions to mitigate hazards.
You'll communicate professionally and promptly about the likelihood and impact of various risks, including material damage, business interruption, and machinery breakdown. By improving our customers' risk profiles, you’ll directly contribute to the profitability and success of our business.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).
Ōu Pūkenga | About You
In order to be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:
• Tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline
• Experience working with owners of assets to formulate solutions to complex problems
• Experience working in a collaborative environment, explaining technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience identifying potential business interruption and loss risks
• Understanding of the basic principles of insurance a bonus
• Knowledge of commercial property risk surveying a bonus
