Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
The role involves leading the strategy, coordination, planning, and execution of large technology initiatives, ensuring the application of IAG’s Delivery Approach. Key responsibilities include guiding projects through IAG’s Value Delivery Framework, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing strategic advice to senior leaders. The role also requires applying Agile principles, managing projects and programs, and implementing change management strategies. Building strong senior stakeholder relationships and driving a delivery culture are essential. Additionally, the role involves designing technology solutions, developing propositions, leveraging technical expertise, crafting user stories, and managing the delivery plan.

This is a permanent full time hybrid role and you’ll need to be based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland)​

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally need to have the following:

• Extensive experience in software development, leadership, and managing technology projects, including Agile methodologies.
• Skilled in providing technical guidance, mentorship, and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.
• Experienced in leading change management, designing system architecture, and documenting technical solutions.
• Practical experience in API development, ServiceNow, and Google GDP.
• Strong command of relevant programming languages, tools, and frameworks.
• Capable of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
• Proficient in project and programme management, and creating technical documentation.
• Holds a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
