Our prestigious hotel is searching for a talented Artisan Cake Maker (for fixed term maternity cover), to elevate our guests’ dining experience with exquisite, handcrafted creations.

The role:

  • Craft and design stunning cakes for a variety of occasions, including weddings, celebrations, and our exclusive afternoon teas.
  • Innovate and experiment with flavors, techniques, and decorations to create unforgettable desserts.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team and Executive Chef to develop seasonal and custom menus.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and excellence in every piece of work you produce.
  • Custom pastry work as needed by the business.


Are you this person?

  • Proven experience as a professional cake maker or pastry chef.
  • Exceptional skills in cake design, sugar work, and fondant artistry.
  • A creative mindset and the ability to translate ideas into edible art.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


This is a full-time fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave.
