Mandatory Requirements
- This application is only open to those legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
- The successful applicant will be required to complete a Ministry of Justice check and pass pre-employment drug testing.
Role: Forklift Operators Certificate (Reach and Counterbalance)
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance and reach forklift. (Experience in steel industry and product will be advantage)
- Loading and unloading.
- Sort and place stock in racks or other designated areas.
- Stack pallets.
- Move materials within the warehouse.
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year plus of experience in operating reach and counterbalance forklift.
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
- Ability to work independently, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
- Flexible to work overtime preferred.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Willingness to work the required schedule.
