The role:
This role will suit someone who loves the chase! You need to be motivated to get out and chase new business from day one. In this position, you will be a passionate salesperson, ready to talk the talk and bring results to the table. Ideally, you bring with you experience in the Freight Forwarding/ Logistics industry and of course a proven sales background.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, managing, and onboarding new customer opportunities
- Managing existing customers and growing accounts where possible
- Cold call visits and prospective calls
- Utilising your current network and resources to obtain new customers
- Build strong and long-lasting relationships with current and new customers
About you:
- You bring excellent negotiation skills
- A strong sense of teamwork
- Sales background - ideally within Freight forwarding/logistics
- Proactive attitude and a "go getter" approach
- A strong attention to detail, ensuring you are across multiple tasks at any given time
