About The Role:

At BestStart MacDonald Street, we believe in building meaningful connections within our centre, families, and the wider community. Our centre is nestled at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac, just off the Pacific Coast Highway, offering a wonderful opportunity to get out and explore through walking trips or van excursions to local spots.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week.

Role Requirements:

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) with current teacher registration/certification
  • A solid understanding of child-led curriculum and the ability to extend children’s learning
  • Strong knowledge of current ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki, with a focus on compliance
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • A deep passion for teaching and learning
