About the Role:
BestStart North Harbour is a vibrant early childhood provider dedicated to high-quality care and learning for tamariki. We create an environment where children’s curiosity thrives through play and exploration, giving them the foundation to succeed. Our small, close-knit center is licensed for 58 children and is conveniently located near Westfield Albany Mall, with a nearby park perfect for lunch breaks.

We are seeking a passionate teacher for a fixed-term role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 28/4/25 to 19/12/25) to join our dynamic team.
Role Requirements:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration.
- Strong understanding of child-led curriculum and the ability to extend children’s learning.
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in pedagogical practices.
- Demonstrate a solid knowledge of current ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and maintain high compliance standards
- Passion for high-quality teaching and learning with a focus on delivering high-quality learning experiences.
