New Zealand Couriers Hamilton are on the lookout for another reliable night owl to join our team of 15 on the night shift!

About the Job:

At New Zealand Couriers Hamilton, we pride ourselves on our ability to work as a team, depend on each other as a team and get the job done.

Our team work within a warehouse environment, physically sorting parcels from inbound trucks, to the final delivery point.... your local couriers.

This role is one of fifteen that make up a team of nightshift freight sorters who are responsible for processing all inbound freight volume by manually handling packages of varying sizes, shapes and weights.

There are a variety of work tasks that are rostered on a weekly basis but the consistency of sorting freight and remaining on your feet for the duration of the shift is a daily

Hours of work:

The shift available is 7:30pm to 4:30am

Rostered Sunday evening 8pm to 11pm (Roster is shared with the entire team)

Pay rate:

Rate of pay will be discussed with serious applicants only, an attractive night rate allowance is included

Ideal applicants:

  • Proven history of reliability & punctuality
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Physically capable of lifting 25kg
  • Comfortable with hands on & physically demanding work
  • Forklift OSH certified is advantageous but not a requirement
  • Health & Safety Representative, First Aid certificates are also advantageous but not required
