Job Description

The role:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this position has become available for an asap start. We are looking for a repair technician to join the afternoon process team, which inspects and repairs wooden pallets. This is a physical role in a challenging yet friendly environment.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Pushing/pulling pallets on and off conveyor belts.
  • Examining pallets for defects.
  • Removing broken planks and fixing new timber to the product.
  • Using a nail gun and other tools.
  • Moving and sorting materials as required.


Days and Hours:
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 2.30pm - 10.30pm

Requirements:
Someone who enjoys working with hand tools is preferred
Physically fit
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Willing to undergo a Ministry of Justice background check
Willing to undergo an ACC history check

Our client is an international pallet distributor. They deal with pallet and container pooling services, serving customers in a range of industrial and retail supply chains.
