Join our team as a Food & Beverage Assistant at one of our Business & Industry sites in Penrose, Auckland. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences, utilizing your customer service and barista skills. With a proactive approach to safety and the utilization of all safety equipment and procedures provided by Compass Group. This is Permanent Part Time position
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
Provide professional customer service with a warm, friendly, and welcoming style.
Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service.
Maintain clean and tidy dining/kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping floors, and handling waste.
Prepare and serve espresso coffee, including selecting, grinding, extracting coffee, and maintaining the espresso machine.
Adhere to site food safety plans and ensure compliance with food handling standards.

Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
Great communication skills and a flexible approach and attitude.
Physically fit, reliable, and hard-working.
Experience in a similar role and a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
Previous experience in a catering environment and NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) are desirable.
