About the Role
As an Host/Housekeeper at Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook, you'll be a key member of our team, playing a vital role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable stay. You'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of our hostel, while also interacting with guests and contributing to the overall positive energy of Haka House. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a vibrant and culturally rich environment.
The Role Will Involve
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, common areas, and bathrooms ๐งฝ๐งน
- Providing friendly and helpful service to guests, answering questions, and offering local recommendations ๐ฃ๏ธ๐บ๏ธ
- Checking guests in and out efficiently and professionally ๐
- Assisting with laundry and linen management ๐งบ
- Ensuring the hostel is stocked with necessary amenities ๐งด
- Reporting any maintenance issues promptly ๐ ๏ธ
- Contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and staff ๐
