About this role
As Restaurant Manager, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing food and beverage service at Sugarloaf Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staffing, bookings, and deliveries with the Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Lead service and maintain high levels of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise restaurant opening/closing, inventory, and cleanliness.
  • Train and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
  • Build relationships with guests and resolve complaints.
  • Assist in developing a beverage program with wine and craft cocktails.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies for profitability.
  • Train staff on industry trends and best practices.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about events and activities at the lodge.
  • Maintain guest records for personalized marketing.
  • Collaborate with the wider Flockhill team.


What you will bring to the role

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in luxury hospitality.
  • Knowledge of bartending, cocktails, wine, and fine dining.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with reservations systems.
  • A hands-on leader with a positive attitude.
