Job Description
About this role
As Restaurant Manager, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing food and beverage service at Sugarloaf Restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing, bookings, and deliveries with the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Lead service and maintain high levels of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise restaurant opening/closing, inventory, and cleanliness.
- Train and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Build relationships with guests and resolve complaints.
- Assist in developing a beverage program with wine and craft cocktails.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies for profitability.
- Train staff on industry trends and best practices.
Additional Responsibilities
- Stay informed about events and activities at the lodge.
- Maintain guest records for personalized marketing.
- Collaborate with the wider Flockhill team.
What you will bring to the role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in luxury hospitality.
- Knowledge of bartending, cocktails, wine, and fine dining.
- Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with reservations systems.
- A hands-on leader with a positive attitude.
