The ideal candidate will be flexible, have an open mind, and possess knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach. You’ll have a strong ability to engage meaningfully with tamariki and their whānau, creating an environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to nurture, inspire, and support tamariki in a warm, engaging, and enriching learning environment. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to providing the highest-quality early childhood education while fostering a love for learning and discovery.
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday).
Role Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
- Have a strong understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending children’s learning
- Demonstrate knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and hold compliance in high regard
- Show a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Be passionate and committed to teaching and learning, with a focus on delivering high-quality education
