Reporting to the Domain Lead – International Intelligence, this role works alongside the Domain Lead to ensure the small team of Insight & Intelligence Specialists in IRS can deliver on an extensive work programme that underpins many of our international initiatives and compliance strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being the technical lead of the analytics and intelligence work programme.
- Provide guidance, training and support to the Insight & Intelligence Specialists in their day-to-day work.
- Development and monitoring of analytics standards and processes.
- Management and maintenance of key data assets.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of our key intelligence products including the international questionnaire, treaty exchange data analysis and lead generation for compliance actions.
- Working with the Domain Lead and the Domain Principal to ensure that our international obligations for storing, handling and using treaty exchange data are continuously met.
This role requires extensive experience and in-depth understanding of automatic exchange data; current initiatives being the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Country-by-Country reporting (CbC), with a demonstrated ability to interpret data from new and upcoming initiatives such as Digital Platform Information (DPI) and the Crypto-Asset reporting Framework (CARF). There is also a high degree of stakeholder and relationship management in this role to ensure analysis and intelligence produced meet the requirements of the experts consuming them.

To be successful in this position you will possess the following capabilities:
- Proven technical experience and skills in analysing and interpreting large and complex datasets and relational databases.
- Strong experience and skills with interpreting and manipulating XML and IT schemas generally.
- Good understanding of and experience in international exchange of information frameworks and governance.
- Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring data analysts
- Excellent customer advisory and stakeholder management skills with a strong focus on compliance outcomes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to different challenges and competing demands.
