Mi-IT is a boutique MSP based in Auckland, Albany on the North Shore. The company is focused on MS Cloud technologies and is looking for the next top-talented Level 1-2 ICT Support Technician to join the team.
A position is available to join the Support Desk team. This role provides phone and remote support and will be the first point of contact for all ICT services and support.
This is a role with endless scope for development and growth. Any further, relevant education and certification will be fully paid for by the company. You will gain valuable ICT experience and training across a broad spectrum of customers across Auckland.

Duties:
Serving as the first point of contact for IT support
Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software
Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices
Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation
Skills & Experience:
Experienced with Windows, MSOffice and MacOS
Experienced with setup & trouble shooting and diagnostics of:
- Windows, MSOffice and MacOS
- O365 : Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure.
- VoIP and IP phones.
- Hardware
- Networks/wireless/broadband connectivity.
- Printers
Some knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory & Exchange
An excellent communicator who enjoys dealing with clients both remotely and on site
Ability to multitask
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proven customer service skills
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges with the ability to be self-sufficient when required
