Job Description

We are looking for a new LIM (Land Information memorandum) team leader to support this close-knit team of diligent individuals. This team processes Land Information Memoranda, Property Reports and Building Information Reports and assists customers with any queries they may have regarding these reports.

In this role you will:

  • Lead a large team, in managing the issuing and handling of LIMs, property reports, building information reports, and other information requests. Ensure these are processed within statutory timeframes, advertised service levels, and business targets by effectively overseeing the team's workflow.
  • Develop and guide the team to provide exceptional customer service and engagement. This includes managing effective customer communication and education, as well as overseeing new and existing customer and industry initiatives.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment to achieve team objectives and cultivate a high-performance culture where personal development is prioritised.
  • Assist in transforming the LIM process while staying informed about upcoming legislative changes and their consequences.
  • You should have experience working in a regulatory environment, with a solid understanding of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987. Ideally, you will have experience in people leadership or have served as a senior technical expert within a team, mentoring other members.


This role requires engaging with various stakeholders, so effective communication skills are essential. You must be able to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships and provide top-quality customer service through effective communication and education. Due, to the nature of this role, you must be adaptable and able to lead a team under periods of high-pressure.

We are looking to appoint between $85,645 - $100,758 per annum, for this role, depending on relevant skills and experience.
