The role
The Finance Business Analyst is a newly created role, reporting to the Commercial Manager of operations. The role will have responsibility for providing weekly and monthly KPI reporting, variance analysis and insights, partnering with key operational stakeholders.
This role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders for optimal commercial outcomes..
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial analysis of and interpretation of site results
- KPI preparation, analysis, and reporting
- Variance analysis
- Communication of financial and non financial measures
- Develop Power BI reporting
The business is also about to implement an ERP system. You will document and analyse current processes as part of the ERP implementation. It will be involved in the implementation of the new system and once the system is up and running, the role will be identified as the subject matter expert.

Key to success will be your ability to build rapport with operational stakeholders. You will strive for high performance, communicate effectively, take initiative and be curious.
You will be commercially astute, with proven experience in positively impacting business strategy, by providing insights and analysis to aid decision-making.
Experience:
- Degree qualified
- 3+ years’ experience in management accounting, business partnering or financial analyst role
- Personable, confident, collaborative, high EQ, proven influencing abilities
- Ability to work with complex information, simplify it work with it to provide insights and analysis
- Ideally, you will have experience with Power BI
