Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in residential and commercial electrical projects to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential and commercial electrical projects.
Review project specifications and drawings, to determine material and labor requirements.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop comprehensive bids and proposals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry trends.
Assist in contract negotiations and project planning to ensure budget adherence.
Complete electrical layout plans for residential projects.
Assist delivery team with administration of project variations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in residential and commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimating software (such as Simpro, Groundplan or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant electrical trade qualifications or a degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
