Our office has a range of leading landscaping and project maintenance clients who partner with us to deliver quality staff for a variety of projects. AWF can offer excellent career opportunities for people interested in the industry or with existing experience.

The Work

This role will see you working to establish the landscape for a local project at an iconic development in Marlborough. Work will vary day to day, week to week from soft landscaping & planting of trees, shrubs and flowers, to the hard landscaping requirements such as (but not limited to) decking, irrigation, pathways, brick / block work, paving, concreting and form work.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Formal landscaping / carpentry qualification (or civil qualification) preferred
  • Previous experience on residential / commercial contruction sites
  • Full NZ Class 1 License (essential); Class 2 and WTR is a strong advantage
  • High level of phyical fitness and reliability
  • Ability to lead a team and manage a site
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to grow your leadership skills
  • Site Safe Certificate - or the willingness to obtain this through AWF
