An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled finance professional to join a high performing finance team.
As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the Wellington team. Your focus will be on consolidated management accounting and financial reporting processes. You will prepare month-end journals, assist with board reporting, support statutory account preparations, liaise with external auditors, and handle tax returns. Your ability to build strong relationships across the business will be crucial as you provide critical insights that drive decision-making.
What you'll do:
Prepare month end journals, reconciliations and balances
Assist with the preparation of timetabled monthly reporting
Support the finance team in the preparation of the annual and half year statutory accounts
Assist in preparing information for external auditors
Liaise with third parties on identified projects progress claims, funding and reporting
Prepare GST, PAYE and WHT returns for the Corporate companies
What you'll bring:
Recently qualified or soon-to-be-qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 2 years’ experience
Understanding of accounting and consolidation principles
Financial modelling skills including efficient use of Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills with a diverse group of management and staff
