About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are on the hunt for a Service Manager to effectively manage a team of Techs ensuring objectives and projects are being efficiently completed. This role offers variety and opportunity to move across different duties and departments if wanted.

  • Schedule, direct and provide technical support for HVAC technicians to meet service demands and customers’ expectations
  • Review technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques and safety requirements
  • Maintain a regular training program to ensure the technicians are properly trained on latest service techniques and safety procedures for equipment and general working conditions
  • Develop and monitor budgets, goals, and objectives to insure departmental profitability
  • Reviews work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy
  • Generate sales leads; promote and develop maintenance/service agreements
  • Manage larger installation, start-up, and commissioning projects
  • Work with other departmental managers to meet company goals and objectives


About You
You will have previous service experience, a comprehensive knowledge of the HVAC Industry, management experience and a strong skill set in building rapport with staff and customers.

  • Experience in servicing major air conditioning and mechanical services plant and equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Be mechanical minded, self-motivated and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
  • A positive "can do attitude" with a bright and energetic personality
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop service technicians
  • Be acting as a Service Manager or similar in your most recent role.
