Stevenson is seeking a motivated Cadet to join our team in Drury, South Auckland. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to learn all facets of the quarrying industry while developing a strong career foundation.
This is a paid 15 month fixed-term role for a motivated and enthusiastic individual. At the end of this programme, there may be an opportunity to transition into a full time role based on your performance and business needs. This role is tailored for school leavers or recent high school graduates who are eager to develop new skills, grow their confidence and lay the foundation for a rewarding career.
As a Cadet, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all areas of Stevenson such as the Laboratory, Workshop, Transport, Health & Safety, Quarry and more! This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, varied environment and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. No prior experience is required just a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn, as full training will be provided.

What we need from you:
- A full Class 1 driver’s licence.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- A good level of fitness for manual tasks.
