About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Support workers in our Auckland Community Mobile team are focused on improving the well-being of adults who experience mental health and addiction challenges in their local communities. We visit people in their homes and work in an intentional, goal-orientated way so that people can move to thrive independently of us. You could think of yourself as a well-being coach and will be managing your own caseload with the support of a Team Coach.

You will be:

Goal setting and building confidence
Supporting people to take medication independently
Supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills
Attending appointments and advocating for people
Assisting people to connect with their communities
This is a permanent, full-time position. You will be working Sunday - Thursday, 1pm – 9:30pm, based in Ellerslie, Auckland.

You | Mōu
We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery and strengths-focused way.

You will also have:

Current full driver’s licence
Current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
Support Worker experience or similar
Sound knowledge of the secondary mental health sector is desired
Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
