Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager for our client's HRIS transformation project. This 6-month fixed-term role in Wellington offers a salary range of $118k to $138k. You will be key in driving people-centric change & ensuring the successful adoption of new HR systems and processes. Working within a geographically diverse workforce, your passion & enthusiasm for championing system change will be crucial in positively impacting our client's needs

What you'll do:

As a Change Manager - HRIS, your primary focus will be on driving people-centric change within the organisation. You will lead the change management workstream for our HRIS transformation project, working closely with People and Culture, IT, and key business stakeholders. Your ability to manage resistance to change, navigate periods of uncertainty, and empower leaders to create a positive change culture will be essential for success in this role.

  • Lead and innovate change management initiatives and strategy for the new HRIS system.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to assess the impact of system changes on people and processes.
  • Manage a team of change and training specialists.
  • Proactively identify and address change related risks.
  • Track and report on the progress of change initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and support for the transition.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Change Manager - HRIS role will have excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style. You should be comfortable operating at all levels of the organisation. Your demonstrated knowledge of change management methodologies will support the adoption and embedding of changes required across the organisation. A strategic mindset to envision long-term impact of change initiatives is crucial.

  • Deep understanding of human elements involved in the change process.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Relevant change management qualification such as Prosci or equivalent.
  • Experience in establishing Change Management strategies, and Change Management Plans.
  • Excellent internal and external communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in change management tools, methodologies and best practices.
