Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer Team Lead to join their team. Reporting directly to the CIO, you'll co-lead a talented group of engineers, guiding them in the development of cutting-edge digital solutions for the organisation's insurance products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of technologies and play a pivotal role in the company's digital transformation journey.

As a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, you'll be instrumental in leading a team of 11 software engineers. You'll collaborate closely with another lead, sharing the leadership responsibilities for a team that has expanded to 22 engineers. Your technical expertise and leadership will be critical as you guide the team in developing a digital portal for the organisation's insurance risk screens and APIs for broker connections.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 11 software engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other leads.
• Stay hands-on with coding and technical problem-solving.
• Facilitate upskilling and training initiatives.
• Oversee API product development and digital portal projects.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Expertise in C#, .NET, Blazor, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Experience with both cloud and on-premises solutions.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple squads and adapt to dynamic environments.
• Strong technical acumen and hands-on coding ability.
