He angitūtanga: The opportunity At Auckland Council, we’re looking for a Scrum Master who’s passionate about leading agile teams and driving meaningful change. You'll play a vital role in guiding teams through Scrum practices, helping them overcome obstacles and deliver value in a dynamic environment. As a coach and mentor, you’ll promote agility, foster collaboration across teams, and challenge them to grow.

You'll also work closely with Product Owners to ensure the Product Backlog is prioritised and optimised for maximum impact. If you thrive on empowering teams and love finding new ways to deliver better results, this is the role for you.

What you'll do:

· Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and empower teams to self-manage.

· Coach teams in agile best practices and help them remove impediments.

· Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritise value delivery.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agility.

· Navigate change, ensuring teams are flexible and adaptable.

He kōrero mōu: About you You’re an agile leader who thrives on collaboration and unlocking the potential in others. You know how to guide teams to excel, even in fast-paced environments. You bring:

· 5+ years’ Scrum Master experience, driving agile success.

· Agile certifications (SAFe preferred).

· Strong coaching, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

· Ability to adapt and lead through change.

You also embrace tikanga, with the ability to use basic te reo Māori in your communications. We value diverse perspectives.
