Casual Traffic Management & Road Worker Roles
Tradestaff Christchurch are hiring! Looking out for candidates that have a full license as well as those interested in over night and away work! Generous penalty rates available!

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with traffic management on a variety of roadwork projects, including setting up traffic cones, signs, and barriers.
  • Direct traffic safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth flow and protecting the safety of workers and the public.
  • Work as part of a team to support road construction and maintenance.
  • Stay on-site for overnight shifts and assist with out-of-town assignments when required.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

What You Need:

  • Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence (or international equivalent).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, with ongoing random testing.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight and out-of-town assignments.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in traffic management or roadwork is a bonus but not essential.
