We sat down with our Head of Payments - Development , who let us know the following about the Product Manager tūranga (role);
What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
- Define and articulate the vision and strategy for digital wallet and international payment solutions, aligning with overall company goals.
- Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that prioritises key features and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to facilitate the successful execution of product initiatives.
- Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences for both digital wallet and international payment functionalities.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance, user engagement, and market impact.

What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
- Proven success in managing complex product lifecycles, from ideation through to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Strong understanding of digital wallet technology, payment processing systems, and international payment regulations.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is highly desirable.
What will success look like for the candidate in this role?
To be successful in this role you will have 5-8 years of product management experience, with a focus on digital wallets, international payments, or fintech solutions. You will bring superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail as well as proven experience in case development and delivery.
