Job Description
Our Lumino Mobile 4 Unit is looking for a reliable full-time Dental Assistant to join our team! Our Lumino The Dentists mobile dental units visit a large number of secondary schools in the Waikato region, meaning parents don't have to take time off work or remove their child from important classes for them to be seen by a dental therapist.

As a Dental Assistant, you will support a highly experienced Oral Health Therapist. You will be assisting them with diverse and interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control and also stock control. You will be required to help out at reception from time to time, so being a people person is essential.

This is a Fixed Term role (12Feb25 to 9May25) working 5 days a week and the hours for the role are:

  • Mondays to Fridays 8am - 4pm


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

  • Previous Dental Assistant Experience preferred for this role as it's a busy unit and the successful candidate will be working with an experienced Oral Health Therapist.
  • Warm and positive attitude and team-orientated approach.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
  • Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.


Additional Information
The Location

Since the units are always on the move, you will need to meet the bus at the site for the duration of the visit.
