Job Description

Are you looking to build your career in estimating and quantity surveying? We are a leading provider in the construction industry, supplying quality materials for frame, trusses, and steel for residential and commercial projects.

We are seeking a Junior Estimator / Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team from mid-April. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with some industry experience to gain hands-on exposure in the field.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret building plans
  • Measure & quantify materials and labor costs
  • Provide accurate cost estimations and quotations
  • Work with different timber types
  • Use Excel & strong computer skills for calculations


What We’re Looking For:

  • A detail-oriented and analytical individual with a strong understanding of numbers and accuracy in calculations
  • A fast learner who can quickly adapt to new processes
  • Someone with basic knowledge of timber types and construction materials
  • Strong Excel & computer skills for managing project data
  • A team player with good communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ideally, a recent graduate or someone with some industry experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
